What initially attracted you to Elopak?
Prior to applying for my position, I conducted research on the company. What intrigued me the most was Elopak’s commitment to sustainability. After nine years at the company, I am very proud of how aware our employees are of food safety. Their vigilance has improved over the years. They take it to heart and report even minimal potential risks. Their feedback is crucial for us to maintain our food safety system satisfactorily. Each employee understands their important role in reducing food safety risks.
How has your career evolved since you joined?
I was initially hired as a Coordinator to implement the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) system. In 2018, due to new requirements regarding Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification, I was promoted to Sanitation Supervisor. Since then, I’ve been executing both roles.
What do you think are the key reasons for your development?
My development can be attributed mainly to a pleasant work environment, the support of my immediate manager and upper management for the advancement of our projects, and the ability to communicate and express my ideas and opinions.
What have you learned since joining Elopak?
My past experience was in processed food companies, and Elopak is my first job in packaging. I am really impressed by the technology and automation of the company. Thanks to my supervisor role, I have developed leadership and teamwork skills that allow us to meet our goals.
